The day after we got back from Hawaii my mom and I went to Idaho City. It was completely deserted. We explored the historic buildings, got some lunch at a cute little restaurant, and browsed the shops.
We were headed to get some ice cream when it started hailing really hard out of nowhere. It was so random, because the morning had been beautiful.
My mom wanted to teach me a few chords on the ukulele. So we stopped at the river to learn. I can now play "Oh Susanna" and a couple other little songs, thank you very much.
