St. Patrick's

After the treasure hunt.
I wasn't going to do a photo booth, but decided to last minute by taping paper plates to the wall. I'm adding a ton of pictures to show Tanner's personality.

We tried a rainbow cloud experiment.

My Loves

Tannerisms

He started licking his hands and then rubbing them all over his face and hair. I asked him why he was doing that and he said in his high pitched goofy voice, "Why not?"

Sidneyisms

I was singing while playing the ukulele and Sidney told me I sounded like I was dying. I told her that made me sad and she tried to cover it up by saying it was because I was singing the song slow when I was supposed to be singing it fast.

Sidney: "Mom, basically every boy at school and at church in my class has a crush on me."
Me: "How do you know?"
Sidney: "Because they look at me weird." And she stared straight ahead, bug eyed.

At school the 1st grade did an important people presentation. Sidney's was cute. She dressed like Wilma Rudolph and gave a little speech about her. She was so excited for this presentation. Wilma Rudolph was born with a crooked leg, couldn't walk until she was 7, and went on to win 3 gold medals and a bronze medal in the Olympics in track. She had 21 brothers and sisters. So cute, and amazing!

Jaydenisms

"When I read it's like I go into a different world. It's almost like going to sleep."

"People take you more seriously when you wear sunglasses."

Pinewood Derby & Daddy Daughter Dance

Jayden got 2nd at the Pinewood Derby! His car was named "The Phantom Driver" and they gave him the award for "Most Inspirational Theme" because it was a Star Wars car.
That same night Josh and Sidney had a daddy daughter dance at the school, which Sidney had been ecstatic about. Dancing, dessert, and photo booth, they had fun. She is his little twin.

Silliness

Sidney did this.
And the kids did this.

Super Bowl

This is my first and most likely last super bowl post. I'm only talking about it because the Panthers played, and it's the first time we've lived in a city while they've gone to the super bowl. It was kind of fun being around all the hype leading up to it.

Tanner was being his goofy self as usual. He grabbed a cookie right away and sat down to watch.

He climbed up on the couch behind us with even more funny faces, always with a cookie in his hand.

Tannerisms

Tanner is a goof ball. He set up his "soft blanket" and gave us cheesy smiles.
Pre-haircut.
This is the way to eat an ice cream cone.

Jayden

Jayden made the A honor roll for the first semester. He's made the A honor roll every semester his whole school career, he continues to impress us. He also got a special award for music class.

Funny Apps

For some good laughs we downloaded a fat app and an aging app. We couldn't stop laughing!!

Snow

We got snow! School was cancelled, and the kids couldn't have been more excited.

Josh got to work from home, so we broke out our cardboard boxes and went redneck sledding.
Tanner kept trying to ride down on Josh's back.
He loved it, couldn't keep a smile off his face.
Warming up with some hot chocolate.

The second day Tanner discovered he didn't even need a sled because the snow had been worn in and was extra icy, so he just went for it. At one point all three kids were going down like this at the same time.
Going up and down the hill was  lot of work so Josh grabbed Tanner by the straps of his snow pants and carried him up. Tanner loved that too.
