Dance Recital

Sidney's recital was so cute.  She danced twice, one tap dance and one ballet dance.  She had so, so much fun with it and she did great.  She was just about bursting at the seams with smiles during parts of it, and of course those pictures ended up blurry, because it's when she was jumping the most.  But from sitting as far away as we were and being able to see her big grin, you could just tell how much she loves it.

5 Months

Tanner is a growing boy!  Why is my last one the fastest growing and biggest one?  Makes me so sad.
He started rolling over just after he turned 4 months.  He still needs to figure out how to roll back to his back.
He has started sticking out his tongue all the time with a big smile on his face.
He likes the car a little less.
He absolutely loves to be outside.  It easily cheers up a bad mood.

Lake

We love going to the lake, so as soon as Jayden got home from school yesterday, we jumped in the car for some much needed outside time.  With Jayden's terrible allergies, we have been stuck inside for most of spring.  The worst has finally subsided.
Tanner was laughing hysterically, but every time I put the camera to my eye, he got the most serious look on his face.
We saw this cool blue heron.  The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever, so I did a little research to see how rare it is.  Turns out, it's quite common all over North America, but still a beautiful bird.

Knight's Game & Talent Show

Jayden's baseball team won the league's competition of selling the most tickets to the Knight's game.  Their reward was getting to go out on the field during the national anthem and stand with the player who shares their position.  That was a pretty cool experience for the boys.  The night it was scheduled for got rained out, so we had to make it up.  They started with a parade on the field with all the other teams.

He's in the very back.
It also happened to be Pink Night, which thrilled Sidney.

Earlier that day we had the annual ward primary talent show.  Jayden didn't want to participate, but Sidney wanted to do baseball.  So Josh threw her a ball, then she threw it back to him.

A Few Firsts

Tanner's first cereal.
Tanner's first Knight's game (that was cancelled due to rain).
Sidney's first recital is coming up.
And a couple more random pictures because I'm a blogger slacker who is still trying to find a balance in life with three kids.
