Valentine's Day

Usually my Valentine's posts are all about the kids. This is the first time in about 5 years I haven't had a little Valentine's party, and the first time in I don't know how long Josh and I had a Valentine date.

 

We spent half the day 4-wheeling, hiking, and having a picnic. It was so, so fun!

 

We hiked up this steep hill to look at that little arch, and we got a really cool view. 

When we were in those hills in the distance, it was prettier than it looks, but we didn't stop for a picture. 

 

Lots of selfies, sorry, but we've been doing selfies since before selfies were cool. No duck faces here though.

 

 

 

We reached the top of a hill that was pretty bland for scenery, but there is something amazing about feeling on top of the world no matter what view you're enjoying. We stopped here for a picnic. 

 

 

 



Valentine's

I never posted our Valentine's Day pictures. The photo booth has become a fun tradition.

 

 

I also had my annual Valentine's party with friends and about a million kids. It was a lot of fun.

At the beginning of February we hang big envelopes on the kid's doors, and each night I leave a small treat or note inside for a fun morning surprise.  We had a lot of fun with these props one day.

 

 

Any takers?  He's saving for his mission.

I didn't forget Jayden, he just doesn't love that I love to take pictures of him.  And I can't get him all decked out in pink.
