Boise Temple

We drive by the Boise Temple all the time, and one day it occurred to me we had never taken the kids to see it up close. So we stopped to take a look around. The grounds are really small, but we always enjoy exploring temple grounds.
She's always stopping to smell the flowers.

Wolf

Jayden earned his Wolf in Cub Scouts! We are so proud of him. It really is a lot of work, and I know it's only going to get to be more work as he progresses in scouts. Josh and I were his leaders in Texas, so we were there through it all, and know what it takes to achieve this. I wish we could have awarded it to him. He's a good kid, we think he's pretty cool!

Time Out For Women

I was able to go to Time Out For Women for the first time. I knew it was coming, but Josh had a hunting trip planned for that weekend, so I wasn't going to go. He was going with his friend, but then his car broke down, so he couldn't come from Oregon. The morning after we found out, my friend, Amber, who lives here, told me she had an extra ticket her friend was trying to sell, so I jumped on it. I've known Amber since I was 12, and she's the only person I know who lives here, which is a first. I usually don't know a soul. I'm sorry Josh's trip was cancelled, but I'm glad I was able to go. It was a great weekend, just what I needed. It was so uplifting. I need this at least once a month. Why can't it be once a month?
About a minute after I sat down, I looked down and saw her purse. We have the same purse, we thought that was hilarious.
Her mom came too, they are both so fun. I think I've gotten boring in my older years, but they still act goofy like teenagers.

Friday night we went out for a dessert feast. We ordered about 6 desserts and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Idaho Falls Temple & Yellowstone

The kids and I spent three weeks in Idaho Falls with my sister. It was so fun! She and her husband bought a house at that time, it's on an acre, out of town. I love it. The kids loved it too, they could just run around. We had a blast. Josh came down on the weekend a couple of times. I really didn't want to leave, I would love to live near her.

The kids and I went to the Idaho Falls Temple and visitor's center. They did a scavenger hunt, and we walked by the river. Jayden told me he loved the visitor's center, and he felt so good while there. He wanted to go again with Josh, so we did. I love hearing things like that from my kids, so YES! Of course we'll go back!

This bouquet was sitting on a wall, so Sidney and I talked about being a temple bride someday.

We spent a day At Yellowstone. We got to Old Faithful and it blew about a minute later. Then we hiked up to an observation point, and waited about 10 minutes for it to blow again.

Sidney's hair is awesome. All the time.
