Fall Happenings

I've been taking Tanner to some little classes at the nature center a couple times a month. The last one was all about pumpkins.
I went to a witch party and Sidney wanted to take a picture with me. Love her face.
Cookie decorating with friends.
Tanner had been asking for cookies all day, but I told him no. He was so excited to finally get them, but then he didn't eat any. Go figure.
We left for school one morning to find that someone had carved the pumpkin we had bought at the pumpkin patch. Disgusting. And sad.

Pumpkin Patch

The pumpkin patch was a hit with the kids. We love October.

We're lucky we didn't lose Tanner in the corn maze.

Tanner loved the giant slide. He did it over and over.

Jayden tried this out.

At the Zoo and the Pumpkin Patch

You can never have too much of the autumn season. Seriously, can it please last 9 months out of the year? The kids get two days off of school for parent teacher conferences, so we enjoyed a fun morning at the zoo. In case you couldn't tell, there's not much to do in Boise.

This was a lovely morning bike ride we enjoyed as a family.
Pumpkin patches are my favorite thing ever pretty much.

Jayden wasn't feeling well the first night we went. So we went back tonight. I surprised the kids. I told them we had errands to run. We dropped off books at the library, then we pulled into the farm. Such a great way to spend an evening.

I asked Sidney if she was having fun swinging on the horse. In her best Texan accent she said, "You don't swing a horse, Mom, you RIDE it!!" Adorable.
