Car Scare

The kids were playing in the car and I was walking out to the garage. I stopped right in front of the car, and Jayden honked the horn. It scared me so bad, I jumped and my heart stopped and I'm sure my eyes were as big as saucers and I probably yelped. The kids about died laughing! They were so cute and I had my phone in my hand, so I snapped the greatest picture of all time. I don't think Tanner knew why he was laughing, he was just going with it.

Sidneyisms

Sidney wanted to time herself to see how many jumping jacks she could do in a minute. I can't remember how many she did, but she wanted to find out if she had done more than her uncle, who was training to become a fireman. When he texted back that she beat him, she did this.
She brought a face painting book home from the library and chose to do a cat. She was soooo excited, she absolutely loves cats.
She always tucks her shirts in.
One morning she came pouting to me that she's tired of being in Kindergarten and wants to be a teenager already. She was super sad, and in total distress. I thought it was cute so I happened to take a picture. Then later that day she lost her second tooth and was so excited she told me she had changed her mind and likes being 6.

Over the last few days I've been shocked to look at her and realize she's growing up into a girl, not just a little girl anymore, but a GIRL! She always climbs into bed with me when Josh is gone.

FHE

We attempted Family Home Evening over FaceTime and it actually worked pretty well. Good times.

Boise Temple

We drive by the Boise Temple all the time, and one day it occurred to me we had never taken the kids to see it up close. So we stopped to take a look around. The grounds are really small, but we always enjoy exploring temple grounds.
She's always stopping to smell the flowers.

Sibling Love

I heard Sidney call, "Mom, come take a picture!"
She said it again for this one.
Sometimes I look back and see this.
Loving on Daddy.
The kids have become obsessed with "Studio C." And it's awesome to see the kids hanging out like this.
Sleepover in the loft.

Bird Nest

We found this bird nest in the wreath on the front door. We felt terrible taking it down, but we're trying to sell the house and needed to clean up the front porch. You can clearly see there were no eggs in it. But then the next morning I found one broken on the doorstep. Oops! How did that happen? It wasn't there the night before!

Tannerisms

Oh man, Tanner is a busy boy! He is always doing something crazy or funny. I can barely keep up with him.

For a while he would get this big lunch cooler out when we were leaving for school. He wanted to be like Jayden and bring a lunch box.
Sleeping peacefully. I often have to wake him up to leave for school or to go pick up Jayden from school, but he's almost always good about it, rarely being grouchy when he gets woken up before he's ready.

I can't resist those cute little feet and that tongue!
The three of us had a morning at the zoo. We let him go where he wanted.
Have I mentioned he always tries to go to bed with Jayden and Sidney? He always thinks he'll get away with it, and he's so happy and excited about it, we've let him try a couple of times. But he's too hyper to actually go to sleep and stay in the bed, so he's pretty upset when we put him in the crib.

Just like his daddy, off roading.
One day he wanted to wear two shirts. For some reason he thought one of them was a pair of pants, so when I put it on like normal he was really mad and was trying to pull it down over his legs like pants. It was hilarious, we were all laughing so hard!

Looking at himself.
 He's got this figured out.
I was getting a shirt down for him, and he pointed to this one and said, "Daddy." He had to wear it.
Every night he insists on sleeping with these three specific blankets, pillow, monkey, and a few books. And every time he wakes up he insists on getting them all out and bringing them with him downstairs. This time he wanted them all with him at the table and then he pretended to go to sleep.
Jayden and Sidney made this "bridge" between the recliners and they were all trying to lay on it.
